Sunday, May 6 - Friends and Family Gospel Brunch

Our first Friends and Family Gospel Sunday Brunch event will take place directly after the combined communion service where we will continue to rejoice and dwell in the Spirit of the Lord as we enjoy a delicious meal and listen to soulful, rich gospel music. We will combine live singers with beautiful recorded music by top artists. You and your guests will leave the day satisfied and lifted in the Lord. PURCHASE TICKETS NOW at $20.00 per person with accommodations for children under 12. Prices will go up on April 29, so get your tickets early! We will not be selling tickets at the door.

Annual Water Ministry for the Homeless

We lead an annual water bottle collection for those living on the streets of Los Angeles' Skid Row. Please bring in cases of bottled water and leave them in the Narthex or next to the Fellowship Hall stage. You can also donate money through the offering plate with the note "Water Ministry".

Facility Capital Fund Campaign

We are currently raising funds for our facility capital fund, as we continue to strive to have this house of God reflect our care and commitment. Mary Part is leading this effort. Please contact her via email at mary@maspconsulting.com or via phone at (310) 578-7207 with any questions or concerns.

Youth Group Bible Study

Youth Group bible study meets every Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Fireside Room. Youth from grades 6 to 12 are invited. See Elder Damon for more information.

Marketing Efforts

Knox is in need of members who have special gifts in marketing, graphic design and website development. Please contact the church office if you are interested in sharing your gifts with us.

Environmental Awareness

The youth of Knox are leading the effort to make Knox more environmentally conscious through a new recycling program. They are asking that all Knox members and staff participate in the fundraiser by bringing your bottles, cans, and plastic containers to the church. Items will be taken to the recycling location. We will also be willing to pick up the recycling from you for those that are not able to bring it to the church. All proceeds will go towards youth and young adults’ outings and outreach opportunities.

Class for New Members

Classes for new members are taught monthly on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sundays of the month. Each class is taught in the pastor’s office and begins at 11:45 a.m.
